Hello, this is my first photo-blog. This here photo was taken at Makapu'u Beach by my roommate Francis.
So the plan for the Friday off of school before finals week was bodyboarding at Makapu'u. We got there around noon, and the conditions we're mushy as hell, but I decided to try anyways, what's the worst that could happen right? Well after getting "out" in the waves for no more than one solid minute I was pretty much headed directly toward hard pointy rocks on the far left of the beach (somewhat displayed to the left of me in photo). Luckily I didn't get impaled on the rocks when I reached them, and was able to climb out with only a few small cuts on my feet and knees.
On the way back toward UH we passed Hanauma Bay, the lot wasn't full so we pulled in. A few of my friends saw a sea-turtle, but I was perfectly content with relaxing in the sand after a few minutes of fish watching. Fighting for your life can be pretty exhausting sometimes.
